  综合写作:

  阅读:提出三种用来帮助企业经营某一产品或产品线的方法。

  1.生产新版产品Make new version of products。比如,饮料公司生产新的版本来满足年轻顾客的需求和口味(soft drink company design new version to meet the demand and taste of younger customers);

  2.制造主要产品的相关连锁产品Sell new but related products。比如construction vehicle company sell work shoes or boots;

  3.公司品牌间的合作Two or more companies form partnership。They can make a product under the name made by both company。比如巧克力公司和冰淇淋公司的合作。

  听力:反驳阅读,认为以上方法均不好。

  1. new versions attract younger customers, while they might cause the loss of regular buyers, 因为老顾客不喜欢new version,不会买新产品,而新的产生后,他们又会觉得old version已经outdated,所以也不买了,因此,这个方法不好;

  2. vehicle company并不专业与生产周边的相关产品,如shoes and boots, 所以如果the quality of shoes and boots不好的话,会影响整个公司品牌的reputation,甚至影响了原本的vehicle的质量声誉;

  3. 合作partnership在一开始是有效的,做出chocolate ice cream很popular,但很快的,可能某一方,如巧克力公司会想到,为什么不produce chocolate ice cream alone,自己生产巧克力冰淇淋,那么partnership最终变成了compete。

  题型:利弊分析题型 (旧题)。简化题目后,题目表述很简单,“向你还是专业老师寻求帮助”。

  主体段一:强调tutor给出的解答和帮助的正确性恰当性

  First off, the tutor is more professional and his answers and explanations can be more precise and accurate. In spite of your excellent performance in this subject, your ways of thinking, methods of learning, as well as arrangement of preparing for tests and exams, might not be suitable for your friend, as everyone has different study preference and basic capacity. By contrast, the tutor, who owns not only professional and systematic knowledge in this area but also rich experience of supervising various kinds of students, can give your friend more effective assistance. 进一步举例论证。

  主体段二:强调老师给出的知道的延伸性和对学习的真正帮助作用

  On top of that, seeking guidance from a tutor can help extend what your friend would like to know. Usually, when students have doubts in learning, especially for college students, what they need, in fact, is far more than the specific answers and explanations for the doubts or questions. Even if you learn this subject well, it does not mean you really understand everything well. Instead, you might have just memorized the words in textbook and thus done well on the tests. However, the tutor tends not to give direct and specific answers but to recommend your friend related references and to give appropriate guidance to help your friend truly dispel the doubts.

  主体段三:强调向老师请教,跟老师之间沟通交流学术疑问,会给学生带来好的机会。

  Finally, a student who communicates with teachers more often will seize more opportunities. Supposing that your friend get little touch with teachers or professors after class, he will be buried in the crowd of students and will not be remembered by any professor. On the contrary, if he frequently interacts with a tutor about academic problems, he will create an active and positive impression. If so, when there are precious academic opportunities, such as assisting a research, doing an internship and publishing paper, your friend, who impresses the professor, is more likely to be considered.
